Almost a New state record for Louisiana!!!!!!

Featured Replies

Ok this lake I have been to only once when I was about ten years old I had fished nearly two or three hours walking the bank with my cousin till we finally went to the swimming beach where I threw an Allen crankbait off and hooked into a good 4 lb fish which got away. Anyways the big news is that this lady almost set the state record for Louisiana...... if she would have only been able to keep this fish alive till she weighed it in or gotten it to certified scales in time. :( Here is the link go check it our for yourself..........

where you from Alexandria? Do you usually do pretty good out there?

FYI grocery market or post office have certified scales. The bass could have been as much as 10% heavier if handled properly, kept alive and weighed right away.

Good story, thank you for sharing it..

I live like 3 mile down the road from the lake.I do alright around there.Never got into anything over 3lb but we usually catch a bunch of little guys which is fun.

Cool story. Thanks for sharing!

In a kayak too! God, I bet that was one heck of a fight...

I bet that lady is a good LSU fan.

If she was a Tulane fan she would have fallen out of the kayak and lost the fish and all of her tackle.

Good story. Thanks for sharing.

No to hear back from you guys who fish that lake when you catch her sister.  :)
