After several years of negotiations, Bass Pro Shops have entered

into a lease agreement with the City of Memphis for the Pyramid.

This facility is a landmark in the Mid South, located in downtown

Memphis on the eastern bank of the Mighty Mississippi! We are

looking forward to hosting the home of Bass Pro Shops premier

store.

WOO-HOO!

Welcome home.

This is awesome Kent!  Now it will only be 5 minutes away from my house!  Supposed to be larger than the store in Springfield complete with hotel, indoor cypress swamp and numerous exhibits inside.  Can't wait to see the finished product.  Slated to open by November 2011.

That's awesome! Only a few hours from my house. Can't wait to go there!

An underperforming asset?  Sounds more like a liability than an asset.

I don't know when that phrase was coined, but I first heard it when the Bank of New England was going down for the third time.

It was in the 1980s, and townhouses were all the rage in this area of New England.  The B of NE had been found guilty of laundering money and other violations of banking regs.

In their eagerness to recoup their bottom line, they rushed into lending large sums of money to the big developers, just before the building boom went bust.

They were left holding a bunch of notes that were worth less than toilet paper.  What was once known as bad debts or some such other term became underperforming assets.

Nothing more pathetic than someone trying to shine a turd.

woooo! better than any kind of museum or aquarium or theme park. im not gonna lie. i wish it was a cabelas though ;D

support your local tackle shops

would if we had one. i dont know of a good one. do you kent or tn bass tracker?

Only one I really know of is Gator Brown's bait shop in Bartlett and the lake store at Glenn Springs, and most all have limited supply.  Oh, there's Sam's bait shop on Jackson Avenue,  but never been in there.

I do know that Gator Brown will order stuff if he doesn't have it.  He probably has the best selection for the bass fisherman.
