Was wondering what is the best type and size of hook to use on those ribbits.

Strike King Saber Point Round Bend Offset 5/0 for the Ribbit

Mustad Big-Mouth Extra Wide Bend 6/0 for the Bull Ribbit

Don't know what the "best" is. I use a Mustad Ultra Point with the plastic keeper in size 4/0. I think a keeper hook gives you more fish per bait.

anyone use the owner twistlock hook ?

Been using the twist locks for a while now as I got tired of re hooking worms.  They're a little tricky at first, trying to get them exactly straight but I caught about 12 fish on one worm using them.  I use small zoom worms and either the 1/0 or 2/0 and they work rather well.  Use the 1/0 most as it allows the bait to fall slower.  Hit the jackpot the other day and found a bunch of them in one of my fishing shirts!  Good Luck and hope you feel the jerk you are seeking and are able to bring it boat.

I use the weighted screw in ones from Stanley. I only found them at Boaters World and it is closing soon though!
