Try Bing Maps for another view. The birds eye maps they have are just awesome.

    Mapper is as good as google earth, but I think bing has them all beat for being able to zoom in real close.

    wow some good info has come of this ...thanks for the tips and new mapping sources..All of them have the good qualities but i'll have to agree bing is the clearest :)

    After Nate was so excited, I went back and Registered at mapper. Then switched to topo map. Holy Crap!!!! I now no where the creek runs through the middle of the lake and also a road bed. This is Freakin awesome. ;D

    If your lake doesn't have depth contour data, just email them, and they'll research it.  I've had a couple lakes added.
