The River2Sea Dahlberg frog & craw maybe the most innovative lures Ive seen in the last 5 years. Tungsten weights may also qualify as innovative terminal tackle that has had a major impact on bass fishing.

Slit handle rods are also "new" to bass fishing, a old salt water design adapted to bass rods to lighten them. Light weight rods are not new, but becoming state of the art for bass fishing.

I agree that SI has had the greatest impact.  However, let's not forget about the greatest innovation in trolling motors in many years - wireless remote control.

We all know its the fishing pen!! I mean, regular rods are over-rated and I don't have the time to use them! With the fish pen I can be ready to fish at a moments notice!
