how big do the bass get in the Louisiana Delta?

Apparently pretty big. KVD said he caught an 8-9lber in "the area" that they been fishing during practice. Game over if she bites him again.

Would not be surprised to see a 7 or 8 pounder caught in the Classic.

Or a nice redfish, around 12 pounds. You take the redfish home and filet him and enjoy one of the best meals you can ever enjoy. Yum, redfish! Other than for crawfish, it just does not get better than that.

I would think big fish this year will be around 6 to 7 pounds if not more.

And just to let everyone know, LSU knocked off Wake Forest in their season opener 15-4 last night in front of 10,055 fans at Alex Box Stadium. Almost as many fans as attend the Vandy football games.  ;D   ;D   ;D
