Winter is finally over ! the magic time when big mommas go into prespawn mood is finally here, I 'm thrilled !

Here in Michigan we still have about another month before the ice melts and then still have to wait til season opens in latee April. So sad.

32 today. Ice should be gone...someday :'(

My lake is still mostly frozen.  There's a 1 foot gap on one end that has some honest to goodness liquid water. 

Haha how about that's almost the exact thing I told a buddy of mine. Fishing is getting better and better every day

I live southern indiana and we just had our 1st warm week. Friday i went to a small lake,the water temp was 42 when i went back on sunday it was 47! Yep, I'm pretty excited. I caught a few dinks and one 5+ that was stuffed with shad! mmmmm its on boys and girls! oh yeah i also stuck a 14 inch crappie on a large jerkbait and my buddy got a 6-7lb channel cat on a small jerkbait!

Here in Missouri we're suspossed to get  rain and sleet for the next three or four days

Dang Beastie! I guess I need to move a few hours south.  I live about an hour north of Indianapolis and we still have a good 10 inches of ice on all the lakes, with another 6 inches of snow coming tomorrow night.  This has been the longest winter I can remember.

Not too bad. Last ice I saw was 10 days ago. Have only caught 31 bass so far this year though...and no LMB bigger than 9.06lbs yet...

It's 29 degrees and spitting snow as I type. This is getting very old very fast.  How many steelhead have you got this year?

Tomorrow night we may get 4-7 inches of snow.  Good luck to you, though.

Im not too far north(maybe 30 minutes from the AZ/Mexico Border) but ive been itchin to go fishing.

My boat is at a buddys shop getting seat mounts fabbed up. Thats not such a bad deal because even if I had the boat readily available,I still couldnt/wouldnt go. Its been blowing very strong recently and im in no shape to battle the winds in my 12 ft Jon Boat. So here I sit at home all day "fantasy fishing"

Went fishing last weekend at a small lake here in central Kentucky and caught 6 dinks and a 3 lber.  Water temps were 46 degrees.  This was the first time I'd ever fished in Feb. (sad to say) so I was pretty stoked.

Couple feet on the ground and at least another 1-2 on the way. Thanks for asking!
