Muddy water, full moon, 20 degree air temp drop

Featured Replies

What would you do?

I'm thinking lipless cranks and chatterbaits

What's the water temp? If it's below 50 I'd stay home. If it's not 55 I'd still think about staying home or trying somewhere else. Those two baits would be good ones to try in dirty water. I'd also add a dark colored jig that would fall slowly and a single colorado bladed spinnerbait to the mix.

Muddy water: lures that move a lot of water fished tight to cover

Full moon: right now the moon if up during the afternoon so the fishing should be better from moon rise till dark.

20 degree air temp drop: uncomfortable to the angler but unless its lasts longer than a single day it shouldn't effect the bass.

Fished those conditions today. Surface temp of 50deg. Had 2 bites, caught both on a greenpumpkin jig with the tip of my chunk dyed chartruese. A 2lber and a 4lber. Was nice to finally get the boat out.
