Hello all,

I just wanted to say hello and I'm glad i found this site :). I have already learned so much by reading all the articles. Very useful :).

I will tell alittle about myself. I have been fishing for about 15 years, mostly bass. I am still a rookie in bass fishing, I have much to learn and I hope to learn more from you all. I live in Central Coast, California ( Arroyo Grande). I fish my local lakes (lopez, margarita and acouple others.) I use to be a Firefighter for 12 years, and as of last year I had to medically retire do to an Injury on the job. So I have alot of free time to catch up on my fishing, and taking care of my 3 year old daughter. I am a shore fisherman and hope to one day own my own boat ;). If any of you are in my local area, I am always looking for fishing partners, so hit me up..... Boat or no boat.... but I have a good truck that can hual one ;). Till laters, Happy fishing!!!!!

Oh I plan On staying here for along time :) :) :). Theres just so much knowledge and experience here. So far this spring on one of the lakes I'm fishing on is producing big bass, water here is still alittle cold, but climbing as the fair weather holds up. this time of year, as being so close to the ocean, the fog is a issue and the random cold fronts passing... but they are bedding down. I will be taken pictures of the catches, and hopefully snap a hog for you all ;).

Is there anyone else in California...near me???????????? always looking for fishing partners :)

Thankyou you all :) :) :)

I went out this evening, I had an hour or so. wind was howling out on the lake, Thats one of the elements that is common on this lake, its between the hills, straight shot from the ocean. So I had to find a sheltered cove. I caught one just at sun down, little guy just at a pound..lol but hey it was a good thing ;). Its funny just as the sun sets over the hills the little bats start coming out..... darting the area over the lake catching all the bugs.. when you have a line out they swoop in and out around your line some times bumping into it, lol... if your not paying attention you think you just had a bite ;D

plan on waking up early tomorrow and head back out....wish me luck ;)

WELCOME to the Forum! You sure have my well wishes for tomorrow morning....

Hey you all :)

Got back from the lake just awhile ago. I was out there by 7:00 it was foggy and a slight cold breeze. I hit the areas hard. Probably about 2 hours later Got my first bass of the day :) just shorty after I got another. they were just over a pound each. They were small ones but I was happy :) Then the day went down hill, Theres a cold front blowing in, and the temp was falling with increasing clouds. The time I left it was pretty much drizzling and chilly. But all and all a good, but tough day.

This spring weather is tough here......acouple warm and bluebird days then acouple days later cold front. Makes it tough to get the big umms :(
