Hello Everyone!

Featured Replies

Hooked my transducer to my laptop and I found this place. Glad I did!

I'm retired and I fish!

The Bass seem to be plentiful down here in south Louisiana, so I guess I am a happy fisherman. I just can't wait until they grow-up.

I tie flies, and cast my own jigs, and In the past I made my own topwater plugs, which I will probably start doing again soon. Nothing like catching a Bass on a lure you made yourself :)

Glad you found us and WELCOME to the forums!!!

Hey Dances with Bass, it's about time we get another experienced, wise, understanding, patient, Old Geezer like myself to try to keep up with these young'guns here at Bass Resource.   ;D  Welcome to the group, sounds like you are gonna fit in just fine.

Welcome to the best fishing site on the net.

I agree, it is very rewarding catching fish on a lure you crafted.

WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome! I hope you do better with your retirement than I did. I flunked and went back to work in 2004. Will try it again in 2010 or 2011. Maybe sooner. There are so many fish out there to catch. :)

I am on my third retirement :) I was called to go on a job the beginning of July, but my will to fish was more powerful than my lust for $$$$ ;)

I'm looking forward to reaching that point. Although, the main reason I went back to work is because I was given the opportunity to run a small business (1M budget) that I love. Of course the $$$ for more fishing toys, and the fact that my wife can't retire for 3 1/2 years also weighed on the decision. One negative to marrying a younger woman.  :)
