Hello All and my name is Gil and I've been fishing for the last couple of years after watching my brothers enjoy it during the spring and summer months and into the fall with there own little tournament. I got into it one year and can honestly say I didn't know what I was missing. We mostly fish natural lakes within and hour or so of the chicago southside. In our 3 man tournament I've placed third for the last 2 years but stepped up my equipment big time and yes the bait monkey has been on my back...lol. Right now I'm a big Cabelas Rod fan and Quantum reel fan and thanks for allowing me to join

    Howde Gil and nothing wrong with fishing from shore most of my fishing up here around Chicago is done from shore also  :)
