I have used several different types of lures to skip under boat docks and low hanging brush. Some lures skip much easier than others. What types of lures do you like to skip under docks and brush? Plan on using this technique alot this year and looking for more ideas on what lures work best thanks.

For soft plastics I like Kut Tail worms,Senkos with a nail in the rear,trickworms with or without a nail,zoom super fluke.

Also like buzzing toads like the Ribbit or Sizmic,they skip incredibly.The toads don't always work but during certain times you can get some wicked reaction strikes when that thing comes skittering into the bass territory then quickly buzzes away.Better to actually get it all the way to the bank then pull it into the water!

By far the easiest bait to skip is a senko type bait like the *** Trick Stick, but my favorite bait to skip is a 1/16oz shaky head or a 5/16oz jig that Gman pours for me.

I like to skip a nail weighted Zoom Centipede in either Watermelon Red or Smoke Purple. If you rig it right it falls backwards. I also like to use a tube with a weighted EWG hook.

Works great with any soft stick type bait,whatever it may be.Not only does it fall backwards but it also tends to spiral down on the fall.

Cant go wrong there. Flukes are killer as well. I like Strike King 3x or Elaztech flukes. Will actually float most of the time, but flukes in general are easy to skip.

Just about any plastic that is not loaded down with appendages. The more attachments the more to catch and drag on the surface.

Tubes, senkos, and flukes are my usuall skipping baits. But most anything can be skipped up under there. I often skip jigs, frogs, beavers.........anything goes.

senkos, trick sticks, trick worms work best for me.  finesse jigs some also

scum frogs are an awesome bait to skip under docks. stained water i like black and blue jigs. clear water senkos or shakey heads.

I've only skipped senkos, the technique is easy to pick up and very effective. Wanna start skipping frogs this year.

I like Senkos and tubes myself.

1/4 and 3/8 jigs skip fine for me

Senkos, flukes, tubes, worms, pretty much any plastic. I also like skirted jigs and spinnerbaits for dock work.
