I have recently bought some firetiger baits and wondering when to use them. in stained water,clear water,cloudy,or sunny when?

Personally, I use them in stained/muddy water or cloudy days.  the clearer the water and the sunny it is....the more natural colors I use.

I use firetiger in stained water or if perch are a common forage. One of the best all around colors for water that isn't super clear.

I use in most condition, except for clear water on a sunny day.   Other than that I usually catch fish with it.

When to use it? Never. Sucks >

Murky water when perch or sunfish is the main food supply.

I rarely use it, I like more subtle colors.  But in muddy water it will be one of my first choices...

That said, Culprit makes a worm in a fire-tiger patter, it is not gaudy like you will see on a crankbait.  It is a more subtle, creamy version of the classic firetiger pattern.  It is very productive for me in stained water.

IMO, it makes a good sunfish imitator as long as the water isn't crystal clear.

I like the color in stained and muddy water.

i never use the firetiger pattern anymore.....

the only success i ever had with it was when i lived in south florida......i caught lots of peacock bass with it down there.....

now im in orlando, and the climate gets a little chilly for peacocks, and the LM don't seem to like it, so ive ditched it all together!!

Firetiger is probably my most productive color in a spinner.

In fact, I caught a bass last evening at our local pond, with a Joe's Flies firetiger.
