Featured Replies

Tough day on the water yesterday.. high sun, high wind.. but still managed a few bites.. a couple on the 1.5 to 2.25 lb class and a 3.5 .. all came in the afternoon, I am guessing that TVA started to pull current...

Man, I consider that a GREAT DAY on Pickwick this time of year!

BTW,

My partner is guiding and has booked most weekends in October and a couple in November. So, I'm looking for a new partner this fall. I'm specifically looking for someone with a boat, strong trolling motor and a VERY dependable livewell to hold bait. I fish artificials and live bait, catch and release ONLY.

I fish the Tennessee River below Pickwick Dam and target TROPHY smallmouth only. I would also be receptive to fishing in Alabama below Wilson Dam. If you (or anyone else reading this post) are interested in a partner to fish most Saturdays this fall and winter, send me a PM. We can arrange single trips or make plans for the season.

I will split expenses.

Nice Job DG!!! I live on Pickwick and fish it alot, that's a good catch on any dogday in the summer. Which end of Pickwick are you fishing?

DG,if you got to www.tva.com they have a release schedule on that sight. You may also check the previous day and they update every hour.Just in case you didn't know.

Nice fish!

Hey EL, I fish Pickwick from dam to dam, but all those fish came near the Colbert Steam Plant, near Cane Creek. off the main channel.

Hey DG, I fish tht area often. Had my PB day just up from there off the main channel Lauderdale cty side.
