No, the water it's really too hot. I fish for striper below Pickwick Dam during the summer. Smallmouth season is October through the middle of March for me. My best month is January.

    Smallmouth are few and far between this time of year. My best catch this July was a 2#3oz last week on Pickwick off the stump flats around Seven Mile Island. I haven't been out on Wilson this month.
