spinner-bait colors for smallies?

Featured Replies

chartruese with chartruese blades works for me as well as white with white blades.

I plead the 5th on this one.

Daytime-white with nickle Colorado and willow

Nightime-black with nickle Colorado with gob of solder

Pink and white, chart silver and white, and white with white blade fished at mach 2

I fish a lot of clear smallie lakes so I use chart/white with either single or double gold or chart willow leaf blades.

I catch a lot of post spawn smallies in south eastern Kentucky on a charlie/white 3/8 ounce terminator. I use a chartreuse or white swimming chunck, depending on the water clarity. If there biting pretty good it usually doesn't take that long to decide on the trailor.

I use spinners with ablack skirt with chrome blades or white/chartreuse skirt with chrome willow blade. Those are the most productive colors for me.

White with double chrome willowleaf, or firetiger with gold double willowleaf.
