Google & study "Billy Westmoreland".

If you are into fly fishing, then check out Harry Murray.

You may want to look at KVD's two books.  They are not exclusively about SM but there is some good stuff in there that has helped me, particulary his philosophies on lure presentations.

In-Fisherman Smallmouth Bass - Handbook of Strategies is a very well written book. You can find it on Amazon for under $10.

For the less academic (haha) I bought a VHS tape of Woo Daves smallmouth tactics for 0.70 dollars at bass pro. It shows his favorite tactics for smallies.

He won the classic with smallmouth I think. If not the classic some other b.a.s.s. elite tourney, either way dude knows how to fish 'em!

Good luck bro

I've got the In-Fisherman book, but got it a few years ago.

Has any content been updated, or is it just the cover?

Well, I haven't had time to write my book yet. So, until I do, the two I would read are Al Lindner's, and KVD's. ;D ;D
