TWIN TAIL GRUBS

Recommended Posts

Whatever you are comfortable with. I fish almost all soft plastics

on spinning tackle. The exceptions are big baits like the 10" Rage

Tail Anaconda and 7" Senko.

Zoom's Fat Albert twin tails are a good trailer for 3/16 to 5/16 plain ball jigs, football or dressed jigs and can be cast on baitcasting with little or no trouble.  If you go to really light 1/32 to 1/8 jigs it is easier to cast and control them with spinning tackle.

right now, i have in mind of using these grubs with a Buckeye Lure, the spot remover.  i was going to use the 3/8 oz.  any advice on why this would or would not work?

I don't use casting gear for any lures under 3/8 of an ounce. But with heavier jigheads or as a jig trailer, casting gear is great for jig trailers.

3/8 oz is perfectly fine... it depends more on the rod you're using with the baitcaster
