how do u display picture next to name in forums looked for it and couldnt find a way to do it

Click on your handle/name at the top, choose My Settings, click the Profile Tab, and click Change Avatar.

Make sure you resize your photo to allowed size also.

It took me 20 minutes using paint to get my photo down to an acceptable size.

Photobucket or another similar image hosting service will resize automatically.

20 minutes? wow. and paint sucks for photo stuff. for a resize i use irfanview, its a free simple easy to use great program for pics, takes like 10 seconds to resize a photo...

Thanks for reminding me! Irfanview and The Gimp are two great, free image editors.

unless it got fixed, then no, it doesn't automatically resize. i remember when i first got on the new forums my avatar took up half of my entire post.
