Ribbontail Worms

Featured Replies

I've been doing well this spring using a Zoom U-tail worm behind a 1/16 oz bullet weight.  Most effective twitching them over the tops of sunken brush.  Black or purple are my choices, haven't really tried any other colors yet.

*** "Hookup" worms are THE BOMB!!! They are a little bulkier and hold up alot better than alot of other worms. They flat-out catch alot of fish. The price is right too.

black is all i need.  i do like the zoom mag II in purple.  3/0 or 4/0 hook and weightless in the grass or through lily pads kills them every time.  i throw them with spinning gear, MH rod and braid.

i've used rage tail, culprit, yum, ***, berkley and probably a few more i can't remember off the top of my head.

they all seem to catch the same for me.  ::D

but the rage tails are probably the most versatile because you can do so much more with them. ;)

I like the Zoom U Tail for the 6" size, 3 favorite colors are Smoke Purple, Green Pumpkin & Junebug smeared with Smelly Jelly. I use the Berkely Powerworm when fishing the 10" size. This summer going to try the Rage Tail Anaconda, both sizes.
