Rattlin' Rapalas

Anyone here do that well on them? Seems to me they have great color and size selection, but their action is lacking compaired to Rat L Traps, XPS Shads, and Super spots. I have caught a few on them, but I don't have much confidence in them? Am I wrong and do they work as well as the others, or am I onto something?

Imo, there are much better rattle baits out there. Such as red eyed shad, Lucky craft lvr d series and the lewis traps are ok too.

I found that you have to bring them back at lightning speeds to get them to wobbl good! I like the Rat-L-Traps personally.

My least favorite vibe......you slow it down and the action dies, same reason I don't like XCaliburs for anything but a burn.

That's been my experience with them too. I have my best luck by far with a stop and go retrieve and then snapping a lipless crank forward.
