Rattlin' Rapalas
Rat'l traps and Lucky craft LVs are my favorites as well.

Senko is my new favorite
Senkos are probably (IMO) the easiest to throw and get fish! I love their action. Hard tackle is fun for the strikes but finesse baits are more enjoyable because of the 1 on 1 aspect (all rod/line feel). They are all fun, and it's good to change things up!!!

New Strike King "Shim E Stick" Review
I'm a die hard Senko fisherman! So I'm going to buy these guys and give them an honest test!!! I too hate paying so much for those guys and am willing to try other baits. Tikki sticks are just OK IMO but hey they catch fish.

Snakehead Fish....
Dan, Dan, Dan... once again you avoid the facts and completely disregard what was said! Your were clueless on your rebuttal and I will no longer listen to your future posts. Read what was said and then comeback with some kind of substantial reply and then I'll give you the facts (like you'll hear it anyway). Dude I couldn't have been more clear. By the way... I wish we all lived on the Potomac!!! where everything is perfect.

Snakehead Fish....
Wow!!! I saw the vid and read the posts and can't believe how little fishermen know about "invasive species." I do this for a career. Smallmouth are native to the states (and are not nearly as problematic as snakeheads on a population of native species), snakeheads are a problem, and Dave is a clueless poster that likes to stir things up to upset others. Our water sheds, nation wide are hit hard from invasive species and native fish suffer from it. All non-native fish that are illegally introduced should be culled (killed) and it's up to sportsmen to help biologists reduce all invasive species to the absolute smallest number as possible and including complete elimination of these species. Now that I've fumed a bit... fish and enjoy your time on the water because no matter how the table fare is... snakeheads suck compared to crappie and walleye to eat!!! Oh ya the fish in the vid is a blue snakehead not a northern snakehead which is (the northern) what is found most in the states. If it's invasive, or not legally introduced it is a trash fish.

A few more....
Awesome fish!!! I'm a smallie junkie and can't catch anything like that yet this year... what state are you in?

Need some advice please
Make pops proud... fish like a mad man and throw what you have. Bank fishing means throwing parallel to the bank and not perpendicular. Senkos on isolated structure, and cranks to clear (little debris) areas. Tear a few lips off those fish and tell us how it goes! ;D Oh ya and any time you have tackle in the water your being productive so fish every chance you get! Good luck.

A fun day of fishing turned bad
I feel your pain bud! I was steelhead fishing in Northern Idaho and someone stole all my tackle, rods and my wife's new digital camera while I was sleeping in the truck not 10 feet away! It was night time and didn't hear a thing! Thieves are the most worthless beings on this planet and I hope they all have karma bite them in the rear 10 fold!!! Hope you recover from the loss and learn to not be a victim again... protect your belongings.

New PB!
I live in Idaho so not too many largemouth here, but man what a fight and my best largey! Any idea what it might weigh? I'm 6'3 and not holding the fish to the camera, I'm thinking around the 4lb mark. Any clues you see would be appreciated

Finally a boat owner!!!
Not to sound rude or anything but why are you not happy with 40mphs? Unless you fish high end tourneys, there is no reason to demand this speed. 30-35 is ideal for cruising a lake anyway, enjoy the classic ride and don't get mixed up in the "speed wins tournaments" attitude, trust me you'll get burned out on it... just my opinion. By the way congrats on your first boat! I remember the feeling! It rules doesn't it?!!!!! 8-)

Anyone from Idaho?
I don't know how I missed this thread either. I live in Nampa and fish the hell out of CJ, Brownlee, Lowell, Owyhee, Ben Ross, and usually slay this time of year, however winter just won't let go and the waters I've been hitting are still in the high 40s or low 50s. Rough year so far on the smallies for sure! I'm thinking this weekend should finally be decent. I'm heading to Owyhee or CJ, I'll let you know how it goes.

Walleye in NWMO
Mike I feel your pain and wish some walleye guys would respond. I'm going down to a reservoir this week to catch (attempt) walleye and am pretty clueless. As of now I plan on dragging cranks and minnow plastics around structure in 5-10ft of water to get a reaction hit. Who knows the results. I'll let you know. Alarcher

Suspended Smallies
Try a Dropshot at that depth that's what I use for that deep. It works in cold weather (work it slowly) and any other time you know they are that deep. Also don't forget to properly take care of their air bladder if your pulling them up that far. Good luck D.S.ing is an awesome technique for deep smallies

new guy addicted to senkos!!
I literally boated 62 smallies and 3 catfish yesterday on Senkos only! Watermelon, Pumpkin with green fleck, and Gren and white colors! Just cast and feel for the bite... best Senko bite I've ever had. WOW, I'm still there with em!

Smallmouth Replica Mount ? Which looks better?
Too symmetrical? number 1 is all but symmetrical (maybe that's why it looks the best of the two). :-? Beautiful replicas and awesome PB!!! Be sure to post the rep. when it's done!
