New Personal Best and Some Other Spring Smallmouth
WOW! Nice fish man! I love them bronzers! How much does the new PB weigh? I love how the fisherman in the background is already trying to "share" your hole- while your snapping pics... that's just wrong. Congrats on the new PB!

Nice day at work...
Ok well congrats on fishing local tourneys and weighing in plenty of fish...? There's really nothing to prove on this website. And for the record I'm 6'5" 280lbs , I've weight plenty of fish and it looks like it might be around 3.5 the best way would have been a side shot for girth. That's why I told my buddy whenever I win the lottery I'll buy everyone that has a fishing pole a scale as well.. Take care, good luck, and relax, fishing is fun Well I weigh and measure fish for a living (fisheries biology) and that fish is likely 4lbs and a bit. Like you said though "who cares" it's a nice fish no matter how you look at it!

Junior Bassmaster Tournament (mark twain lake)
BassXL... nice job, if it was a legal fish then forget the rest of these guys statements! "poacher" they need to look this up for themselves, you took a legal bass! Anything harvested legally cannot and will not be considered as poaching! You made the right call. Those other guys can preach all they want but if a judge scored it as legit, then it is! Keep fishing bud but to be "safe" next time; to keep their panties out of a bunch... don't bring in questionable fish.

Little girl's first fish
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!! I have pics a lot like these of my 8 and 3 year old girls! They are fishing junkies and they continue to make me proud!!!! Time on the boat with them is the best times I've had fishing! Keep it up and like previously posted "get a frame with that picture" you'll cherish it always!

Release or not to release?
Thanks guys, I appreciate the feed back. Everyone has valid points and I'm still not sure so I guess I'll continue to fish my tail of in hopes of coming to this situation! Thanks again.

Release or not to release?
Welcome aboard SpecialSause! but that's not an answer to my question, read it again and give me an honest answer. It's not about a mount it's about loosing the record because you didn't harvest the fish. This is all hypothetical, so think it over more, be honest and let me know. ***Harvesting the fish is in no way illegal or wrong*** I'm just looking for opinions. Thanks Matt, your opinion is highly/deservedly valued.

New boat question/problem
My dad was in a similar situation as this with an RV. See if your lawyer can be there on the 6th, and have him "incognito" to serve as a witness and as more pull on getting a NEW BOAT (a more expensive boat at no more cost to you)! You two have suffered way too much... how many bass have you caught this year? Triton is to blame for that! Good luck guys.

FINALLY! My first bass boat!
I bought my first bass boat in April after many months of hard looking! I have my baby now that I paid 3500 for and it is a sweet thing but I would pay the additional 500 for the way that thing looks! Plus it's a Skeeter (always a good bass boat buy), man I think (from the pics) you got an absolute steal!!! ENJOY THAT THING and tell us what your gonna name her!!! What is her length? I would like to know.

javelin
This new (I know 12years old), all of those extras, I think you will be happy with that boat. This is also assuming that everything under the canopy is in spec. I imagine this boat would go 7500 in my area, just to give you an idea. Anyway good luck and keep us posted.

first boat, 25hp johnson now on and runnign!
Console only equals more weight bud. Hate to dig into your pockets but after a console and a 20hp motor your gonna want a trailer next. The decking job is awesome! Nice work!

Release or not to release?
I'm an avid catch and release guy but was asked by a fellow worker today: "what if it's the state record, do you want to turn it loose just to see it caught by someone next year and break your record if it's larger." First reaction was: No problem I can live with it (assuming it's the same fish). Now after some serious thought I'm not so sure. I love to release large fish and I get a thrill knowing that I may have a chance to trick them again someday. However is my ego willing to let the state record go? I would like some more thoughts on this one. :-/ Thanks guys.
