  1. dido!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Rat'l traps and Lucky craft LVs are my favorites as well.
  3. Senkos are probably (IMO) the easiest to throw and get fish! I love their action. Hard tackle is fun for the strikes but finesse baits are more enjoyable because of the 1 on 1 aspect (all rod/line feel). They are all fun, and it's good to change things up!!!
  4. I'm a die hard Senko fisherman! So I'm going to buy these guys and give them an honest test!!! I too hate paying so much for those guys and am willing to try other baits. Tikki sticks are just OK IMO but hey they catch fish.
  5. ya they do but pics are very deceiving. No matter congrats those are awesome fish! I love wacky rigs they are a blast!!!
  6. WOW what a lunker!!! congrats on a fine day, and thanks for taking our heroes out fishing! Please be sure to thank Clay for his service and the sacrifices that he has made for us and this country!
  7. AWESOME fish bud, congrats!
  8. Dan, Dan, Dan... once again you avoid the facts and completely disregard what was said! Your were clueless on your rebuttal and I will no longer listen to your future posts. Read what was said and then comeback with some kind of substantial reply and then I'll give you the facts (like you'll hear it anyway). Dude I couldn't have been more clear. By the way... I wish we all lived on the Potomac!!! where everything is perfect.
  9. Wow!!! I saw the vid and read the posts and can't believe how little fishermen know about "invasive species." I do this for a career. Smallmouth are native to the states (and are not nearly as problematic as snakeheads on a population of native species), snakeheads are a problem, and Dave is a clueless poster that likes to stir things up to upset others. Our water sheds, nation wide are hit hard from invasive species and native fish suffer from it. All non-native fish that are illegally introduced should be culled (killed) and it's up to sportsmen to help biologists reduce all invasive species to the absolute smallest number as possible and including complete elimination of these species. Now that I've fumed a bit... fish and enjoy your time on the water because no matter how the table fare is... snakeheads suck compared to crappie and walleye to eat!!! Oh ya the fish in the vid is a blue snakehead not a northern snakehead which is (the northern) what is found most in the states. If it's invasive, or not legally introduced it is a trash fish.
  10. Awesome fish!!! I'm a smallie junkie and can't catch anything like that yet this year... what state are you in?
  11. Make pops proud... fish like a mad man and throw what you have. Bank fishing means throwing parallel to the bank and not perpendicular. Senkos on isolated structure, and cranks to clear (little debris) areas. Tear a few lips off those fish and tell us how it goes! ;D Oh ya and any time you have tackle in the water your being productive so fish every chance you get! Good luck.
  12. I feel your pain bud! I was steelhead fishing in Northern Idaho and someone stole all my tackle, rods and my wife's new digital camera while I was sleeping in the truck not 10 feet away! It was night time and didn't hear a thing! Thieves are the most worthless beings on this planet and I hope they all have karma bite them in the rear 10 fold!!! Hope you recover from the loss and learn to not be a victim again... protect your belongings.

I live in Idaho so not too many largemouth here, but man what a fight and my best largey! Any idea what it might weigh? I'm 6'3 and not holding the fish to the camera, I'm thinking around the 4lb mark. Any clues you see would be appreciated
  14. Not to sound rude or anything but why are you not happy with 40mphs? Unless you fish high end tourneys, there is no reason to demand this speed. 30-35 is ideal for cruising a lake anyway, enjoy the classic ride and don't get mixed up in the "speed wins tournaments" attitude, trust me you'll get burned out on it... just my opinion. By the way congrats on your first boat! I remember the feeling! It rules doesn't it?!!!!! 8-)
  15. Congrats on the young one!!! Kids are so much fun to take fishing! Boat looks like it's coming along nicely. Looking forward to the future posts.
