Hello All, new to this site and to the sport of Bass fishing. My son and I went fishing the other day (for catfish) and I decided I wanted to get more into fishing like I did with my Dad. Been reading as much as I can about the sport... hoping to gain some valuable information from this forum.

We have a small lake close to where I live called sleepy creek lake, never been there before. Going to give it a try tomorrow. Not sure where else to go around this area. I just bought my first rig for bass tonight, hopefully it does ok.
