Crankbait suggestion for cloudy water??

Featured Replies

I was at the fishing tackle shop today and boy is there a huge seletion of crankbaits to choose from. I'm somewhat new to crankin and a little bewildered on what brand and type to use.

I fish mostly cloudy  ponds that is not real deep. Fish in alot of 4-5 feet h20.

Suggestions?

I like the 1/4 oz Rat-L-Traps and Bandit 100 series for pond hoppin'.

the ''wally marsall'' crappie crankbaits work great in skinny water for puddle jumping. They tend to run around 3  1/2' deep on trilene 10# xl. good luck!

X rap,Rogue, Bandit series 100,200, and shallow flat maxx. bagleys baitfish( lipless crank )all in chartruese if possible.
