I'm bringing a cooler with Poland Springs water, Coke, and Sprite, packed full of ice. I'll have way more than I need, just in case.

Oh yeah, I picked up the hot dogs today. They're in the fridge. Will get the rolls on Friday, plus the mustard and relish. If I remember, I'll bring a roll of paper towels. Real fishermen don't use napkins.

If we get more non-boaters, I can throw my 16 foot, square stern canoe on the roof of my truck. Trolling motor, batteries, and fish finder. It can easily handle two plus gear, plus a large cooler.

I am looking foreward to meeting you and all the other members and hope this is just the start of us fishing together as a group,on some regular basis.

Tomorrow's the big day and it looks like everyone is coming...After lunch, swapping might work if it isn't too hot...keep in mind when you get there that the folks in the tournament have a permit so please stay out of their way (It could be you some day). I am sure that no one needs to be reminded that food costs money. See you in the morning.

I'm hooked up, and ready to go. Only thing left to do is get ice for the coolers. Will do that last thing. They are in the house where the temp is 70ish. Will put them in the boat when I leave.

Had a good time today gentlemen, even though I only boated one bass it was a nice relaxing day on the water. Thanks again to the Rhino for letting me tag along. Great to meet you guys and hope this was the first of many.

I would like to second that, I had a great day also gentlemen and learned a lot from the pleasure of riding with Grampa.

That's the plan. We'd like to find other boaters who are interested in a strictly fun outing. Nothing at stake, not even bragging rights. Catch none, or catch a ton, it's all about an informal social get together with other forum members.
