I love my Lews. I fished my 5 BB1N models for over 24 years. I really like my new Lews as well. For spinning, the Shimano Soros and Symetre have been great performers. There are so many quality ree

I love both Abu garcia and daiwa! Love the fact that some of their parts are actually inter-changeable too! :P

Anyway, I think the BPS PQ is hard to beat at the price u can find one.

It's hard to pin a favorite reel for almost every avid fisherman. There are so many good reels at great prices. I learned to throw a baitcaster on a Pinnacle. It was big and bulky, birdnests a lot, and had a very weak drag/brake system, but hey I got it for free and it made me a better baitcast caster now. Since then I have owned or own Abu Garcia Orra SX, Bass Pro Shops Carbonlite and Pro Qualifier, and the Quantum Smoke PT100. For my spinning reel I own a Browning Medallion. I have no complaints about any of the reels.
