Lebron Jokes

Featured Replies

Lebron is probably the most hated person in all of sports and that's part of what drives him.

I don't like him, but I respect him as a player. You have to.

On a different note, do you think the Heat will keep Bosh or let him go to open up some cap space?

Its not the move itself, come on living in Cleveland or Miami is it really a choice. But it is how he handled it. There is another player who was loved in Cleveland and left for Miami, Big Z. Is he hated in Cleveland, nope. He is still loved there because he handled it right.

The media was drooling on their shoes for over a year in advance about what Lebron was going to do and where he was going to go. The situation blew up on it's own. Lebron saw a chance to make the Boys Home some money by turning 'The Decision' into a primetime event. The media caused all the hype and it started even before his last season in Cleveland started. The media created that monster because they speculated and talked about 'The Decision' nonstop all thru the season. Lebron just went with it.

For the record, I'm not a Lebron hater or a Lebron fan. I do kinda feel sorry for the guy because every move he makes, whether good or bad, is criticized to the max by the media. It seems like he can't win no matter what he does.

Cleveland didn't lose anything when Ilgauskas left. He is 36 and way past his prime. Why should they be mad?

The reason Cleveland hates Lebron is because he was there only chance of winning a championship and he left.

Even if they don't want to admit it, that's why they don't like him. It's not because the way he left.

That was very dumb on his part, but not as dumb as Lebron saying he will win eight.

LeBron should get married because thats the only way he's gonna get a ring

Winning!, Have you guys heard of Lebrongo yet? 2 guys with medals but cant win a championship!

The Heat donated all the t-shirts that were pre-printed with "2011 World Champions" to a 3rd world country, but were recalled because they were worried there would be a choking hazard!

I don't hate Lebron and am not a fan of him either. I found it hard to root for him or the Heat because of all the bragging and predicting "not one, not two, not three.." championships before they played a game. Also all the stupid comments he made along the way and after. Every time I started feeling sorry for him, and thinking "He can't do anything right", he would go out and mouth off some stupid comment - he really brought most of it on himself. If you are going to mouth off, back it up - or don't be surprised when it is shoved in your face later.

In the same way, I'm not going to mouth about them now, because I would probably have to eat my words next year about this time.

I don't blame him for leaving Cleveland, and the "Decision" didn't bother me that much, but I can see why it bothered people.

What I would have had a problem with if I were part of the Cleveland organization (owners, coaches, etc), is that they had to find out the same way everyone else did. I would have thought they at least deserved a phone call before he went on air. I know when I was thinking of leaving my current company, I went and sat down with my boss before I even started looking. I just thought he deserved to know from me. The amount of money has nothing to do with it, a little courtesy would have went a long way in that situation.

It was hard to feel sorry for the Cavs after the owner came out and said some of the things he said also, though.

Very well thought out and stated.

As far as "The Decision" goes, his defenders say it was all to raise money for the kids. His detractors see it as shameless self-promotion.

It was both.
