WELCOME !

Do what Glenn said then start asking questions on what you don't understand. :)

Welcome!

I lived in Newport News for awhile so, I can suggest some places up there. But, i would suggest looking at lakes in Suffolk like Lake Cohoon, Prince, and the Finger lakes (no boat needed there.) Check the regulations, I know some of the places I mentioned are pay to fish.

Again, welcome to the forums!

Wonderful having you with us.

For starters, go to the BPS in Hampton and look at their bass books and DVDs.

Watch the DVDs at home and read the bass books while sitting in traffic!!!!!

Consider joinnig a bass club to learn from guys who know the area and have been fishing for many years.

Read, read and read somemore.

Suscribe to Bassin Magazine and join B.A.S.S. for their magazine ($15/year).

And ask us questions. We are here to help you. :)

Welcome! i'm pretty new to the forum too. I also live in VA Beach. Good go to lures here are senkos, crawfish, and purple worms. these are bread and butter for lakes and ponds around here! I agree with "Sam", B.A.S.S. Magazine is one of the best publications for seasoned bass anglers and beginners alike.
