Refuge Hawging Part 2

Mike and I got together for a little pig fishing at the Loxahatchee refuge. My hog came on a Spro popper, Mike fooled his pigs while walking the dog and skinny dipping! Water level is WAY up so bass are on the move, back to the usual patterns, we caught them on a couple of different patterns, ended up with about 22lbs for a five fish stringer, Mike was slaying them from shore while waiting for me at the ramp, nothing like a pump house turning on to get the HOG pin going!

Oh hell. I'm jealous. Way to go guys. Sure wish I was out there today. That silly work thing was getting in the way. Looks like you guys had some serious fun. Heck of a welcome back from China right there, Mike. Next time I see you Robert, I'm bringing you a UM hat. Gotta get rid of that silly FSU stuff you're wearing.

Thanks for the trip, Robert. Perfect weather, good company and great fishing.

I've been running the canals at Alligator Alley/Holiday Park for the past three months bombing lily pads. It was awesome to get out to Lox...run around a little bit, try a few things, establish a pattern and catch some good ones. Love that (stuff)...

You can bring 10 rods with you to Lox and still wish you had brought one more.

We will see what happens after this years football season. Last time I check Seminoles were eating Ibis for lunch. I would venture to say that the "U" is the 4th best college program in the state with UF, UCF, and USF being better! ACC champions vs. ACC Chumps?

Scalp'em!

very nice fish guys. good to hear your water is coming up too

Robert and Mike, yall smoked em! Congratulations.

Here is a good contrast. I fished Lox yesterday. Put in on lox rd. Robert and Dan said the water was up. I ran all over the flats looking for fish, actually any boat can right now. Picked up one 5# and broke off a few more (+-) fishing in the sawgrass islands. Too much water too fast IMO.

Exactly its amazing how quickly in went up from last Wednesday, the western most flat was basically a mud pit now water, water everywhere!

Their pumping like mad, the rain gives them an excuse to start back pumping at the lake and running the water down to the glades.

They figure the rise will be attributed to the recent rain when in reality its them back pumping.

Nice fish, the hats got to go.

I went out there yesterday(Lox Rd) and it was nice to be able to get on the flats with no isses, only caught 3 and lost a bunch more, nothing of size to talk about. Still learning as I go. Anytime someone wants to get out there give me a shout, have a boat, just aint got no experience....lol Louie
