looking for a rod of 140 and under for tube baits in the 1/8th to 3/8 oz jig weight. preferably size of 6'9 or longer. ok let me hear them guys! spinning too if thats not a given

Right now I am using a Falcon Lowrider for tubes.I can find nothing wron with this rod. Sensitivity is better than I expected. Falcon has a shakey head jig model that would fit what you are looking for, however it is $10 more than you wanted to spend though. The LFS-5-167 LR Bass Spin is another Lowrider option that you may want to check out as well for $139, maybe a little short though.

One of my favorites for dragging tubes right now is the CUS76M. Perfect rod for dragging tubes in grass. Great distance casting as well as moves a lot of line for a clean hookset.

I don't have either but... I have the 692 and 693... The 3 power is definitely stouter. Honestly the 692 became my go to tube rod and I fish tubes for river smallies A LOT. Then again, I rarely fish anything but 1/8oz heads and 2 3/4" tubes but, I know it can. I like the tip on the 692 a bit better for tubes. I don't think you can go wrong with either. FWIW, I have a 2000 size Diawa Exceler(last year's model) on both. Classy looking rig and they both balance well with that reel.

If I needed a new rod for 140 I don't think I would look any further than the NEW crucial. If this thing is really the same blank as the cumara all I have to say is WOW

in the video he said the same blank "design" so i dont know if that means its def the same blank or its designed the same way just different materials?.... if it is the same blank im sold!
