Featured Replies

Good Morning, first post for me. Recently stumbled across your forum and decided to signup. Looking to purchase my first boat and looking for your opinions.

Things you might want to know

  • Wisconsin inland fishing
  • 2,000 sq foot of water is the largest I will fish
  • Used is okay
  • 2 people at a time
  • Fish mostly with Senko's
  • Catch and Release

If I left something out, please let me know. Also, I have found two boats in my area that I want to take a look at...if it isn't okay to link to Craigslist please let me know or have the links removed..THANKS!

Both of these are Tuffy boats...

Thank you for your help.

I remember seeing Tuffy boats advertised in Fishing Facts magazine back in the 70's. Other than that , i have never seen one in person. Since they are glass, i would look them over REAL good for cracks and shoreline rub.

Tuffy is a very popular musky and walleye boat in cheeseland.

Take it for a drive and see if he'll let you have a mechanic look at it. If there are no leaks and the motor checks out, 2 grand seems reasonable.

I got one for a steal this winter and spent most of the spring and early summer redoing the interior to my liking, I can say for a small boat I haven't found one better. I fish mainly lakes under 1000 acres and it performs wonderfully for my style of fishing. Like said before check over the hull and transom just like any other boat and if it is solid take one of them, you won't be disappointed!
