So I mainly use duckett rods since I get a discount through the club I am in. But after reading post after post of Catt saying that the shimano Crucial 6'10 MH XF was scary sensitive I went out and bought one to use as my main wormin rod. It was on sale since they came out with a new model.

You're going to love it. I picked up a different model number on sale as well and couldn't be happier with its performance.

So I finally got to take out the new rod and reel out. WOW this rod is amazingly sensitive. I thought my duckett rods were sensitive but they have nothing on this rod. It is my new all time texas rig rod!!! Thanks Catt for the great advice.

Enjoy the rod! Never used a shimano rod, but these new ones look great! They've really upgraded the blanks to the ones the rods a step above them had... might have to get one when they come out! The new Crucial looks great for about 150. Might make a good match on a Lew TP! I think a 7'2" MH would be sweet for jigs!

Agree!! I got the 7' M-MF crankbait rod a few weeks back and I think it is great.
