New Angler From New Jersey

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I just joined (obviously) but I'm from south jersey and have been saltwater fishing most of my life but I've just started seriously fishing freshwater this summer, and needless to say I've become addicted. I've out on the water just about every day since mid july and my personal best in freshwater is a 4lb.12oz Largemouth which was caught with ragetail space monkey rigged texas style on a weighted gamakatsu swimbait hook, all on 8lb berkley trilene,an off brand rod, and a penn spinning reel. I'm definitely looking for some pointers since the only things in my tacklebox right now are top-water and softbaits often rigged weedless
