Curado Gear In A Citica???

Can I put a 7.0 Curado gear in a 6.0 Citica? Has anyone done this? Is it worth trying or just sell the Citica and get a Curado?

yup pinion and gear

It can be done. If you're going to the trouble to open it up for that then I'd also swap out the bushing on the drive shaft for a new bearing like the Curado has also.

A gear swap will work but probably not practical, especially now with the blow out prices available.

Do you know of anyone that has a good deal on a Curado? My local Dicks did not have any and that sale was over last Saturday ?

Here's what a quick search turned up: http://www.ohya.com/proddetail.asp?prod=CuradoE

You might be able to do better. I've seen then as low as $109 but they go QUICK. Don't be afraid to check the flea market here.
