Put my buddy on his PB bass yesterday. 6 pounds even.

He also caught his first Channel the other night. Also 6 pounds.

Went for shovelheads the other day, caught a beautiful one. Only 12, basically a dink, but it was a gorgeous fish.

And saw this 2 year old yesterday and snapped a couple pics.

Nice fish G! That flathead needs to eat something! Looks like it should have been more like 15-18 with it's length but not much girth. Did he come out of a place that normally has good current? That might explain why he's long and skinny like that. I never have understood why people say they're so ugly, I think they're a great looking fish!

WTG G!!! y'all are layin' the steel to everything that swims And I would age that buck up just a little looking at the brisket, blocky body, drop in the nads etc., Great photos!

Big-O you're right, probably more like 4 due to the thick neck, chest and butt. I didn't really look hard until right now. Really nice, symmetrical rack. Beautiful creature.

Couldn't agree more about the flatheads, when this one came up and I saw all of her for the first time it was so beautiful the hair on the back of my neck stood up. It was amazing.

And O he's definitely getting the blocky body goin'. Should be a real nice dear in two years if a car doesn't take him first.
