PO'd I fell for Megabass...

All Megabass lures I own work for me ( except for those Gatta X that I don 't fish ), my absolute favorite is the Bait X Concept.

Did you catch fish with them?

yeah.

Wah wah wah, crybaby!!!! :P

I hear you, though. BTW, Visions aren't supposed to suspend. I feel the same way about other lures. X-Raps are one that comes to mind. I bought a few, caught the hell out of fish - big fish too - so I went out and bought a ton more, in just a few colors. To my dismay, not all them are alike. In fact, their behavior is very variable, nothing like the consistency you see with a Pointer, Flash Minnow, or Vision. Jezz, even the cheapo Smithwicks are more consistent.

You also have to realize that TT is as much about collecting unusual or rare gear as it is about fishing. I mean, its not called BassResource, LOL....

;D

uhh OK? I'm pretty sure all Vision 110's are made the same... or paying 30 bucks means nothing to them. My point is that me and you paid that much for nothing more than a tungsten slider weight, nice finish, poor hooks, "cool looking" design, and bad action. Whoever bought the 110 is a sucker, and apparently I'm one of them. It sucks. I should have known with the flap slap...

It's a poor workman who blames his tools.

Thats funny. I don't think you know who you're talking to. lol, but really I am an experienced bass fisherman, and these two Megabass products really do suck. Have you fished them?

Am I supposed to know who I'm talking to?

Yes, I have been using the Vision 110s for about 7 years.

Yeah. You didn't get the sarcasm in the "do you know who you're talking to" statement. I threw a little "lol" in there to give you the hint. Maybe Pantera has rotted your brain. But, that long you have been fishing them? Great job looking online to see when they first came out! That is great! Seriously, if you are trying to give me some argument, then make a point. Do you think the Vision 110 is better that a Pointer 100? Amuse me Pantera. P.S. COOL band!

Yeah, I had to look on line to see when they were released and came up with the wrong answer. They have been available in the States at least 10 years, if not longer.

Actually the Pantera referred to in my screen name is the Evergreen Pantera TXFC-62M. Conversation done. Amuse yourself.

uh no, not over. You still have not said what you feel about the bait, and if it is worth thirty dollars. Is the Vision 110 a better fish catcher than the Pointer? Please contribute to the conversation, and not give irrelevant information. Thanks Pantera.

1.  Vision 110s have been extremely productive for me in:

Pro Blue, Deadly Black, Ito Natural

2.  Pleasure and Tournament situations.

3.  Any time the water is free of ice.

Your attitude toward the other website has no foundation based upon the merits.  The reviews of Megabass baits, reels and rods have ranged from poor to excellent.

Yeah, you guys are killin' me with the quote marathon. Start over or something.  ;D

I was a little disappointed with the 110's at first myself but it took some getting used to. It's not really a 'power' type of jerkbait like the others. I get more out of it with less power if that makes sense....plus I immediately swapped out the barbless middle hook. Didnt really understand that.

As for other Megabass stuff, I love the Deep-X 200. That crankbait has put many bass in my boat over the years. The Trick Darter's are great baits as well....I like those a lot better than the 110's. I've had good production from the Pop Max's too. I dont have a ton of Megabass stuff but I like what I do have. And for what it's worth, I rarely ever look at Tackle Tour.

LC Killa,

I have a flap slap and will agree that it is just an over priced shallow crank with a fancy paint job that doesn't hold up... but it does catch plenty of fish and there have been days when it seemed to produce better than other flat sided cranks.

The Vision 110 on the other is a great bait and I have had plenty of days when it flat out catches a ton fish for me when other jerks only produce a few.  In regards to your comment about how it rests on a pause and how it is "unnatural", read a description of what a Staysee 90 does on the pause.  The barbless middle hook has never been a problem for me.  I don't lose any more fish on this bait than I do with other jerks and in fact it makes it easier to remove when the fish is at hand.  And in regard to you straightening out the others, what are you fishing these on?  They are not the strongest hooks on the market but they are just as strong as the hooks on a pointer 78.

All that being said, an angler has a ton of control in how a jerk bait acts.  Some guys have styles that work great with certain baits but poorly with others.  I'm sorry you don't like them but your bad experience doesn't make them a bad bait, it is just a bait that doesn't jive with your style of fishing.

To each their own then. 110's are my favorite jerkbait and btw they work great.
