My opinion is that a tube is a tube is a tube. Most are exactly the same.

You couldn't be more wrong. Pay carefully attention, some tubes fall slower or faster, some tubes shimmy on the fall, while others fall left or right. This was all using the same weight, same rigging technique.I was quite surprise when i discovered this while changing tubes one day.The action on one brand of tube different from another brand.

Combat fishing tubes are probably one of the most unique tubes because they fall extremely slower than the regular market tubes. The fact that they are double dipped makes all the difference in the world.

Yep, they make a lot of great baits: http://www.venomlures.com/venom_plastics.htm.

I have been on that site 100's of times, even made quite a few orders from there, and I never noticed that about the mega strike. Learn something new everyday.

They make a great tube jig too!!

I like Strike King coffee tubes, Poor boys, and Scheuberts. Gitzits are great for tough times, I use a jig spinner on  them when I am getting no bites.

Whatever tube you us try hooking a worm or night crawler on the hook before sliding the tube on. scent lasts on every cast. hook worm as many times and still fits in body. holes = scent.

Not trying to hijack here, but since all of the tube gurus seem to be here, whats your take on ribbed tubes ? I just picked up some of Brent's 4" disc tubes and they look awesome. The Yum Vibra King is the only other one I've seen like it. I don't hear much about them when the subject of tubes comes up.

I'm not much of a tube guy but *** makes tubes ???
