  1. When you buy a boat, do you get a title for the boat and the trailer, or does one title cover both?
  2. I have this guy building me a couple of rods right now. http://www.eliterods.com
  3. Made it over last Saturday, it was a good time, and a good show. Lots of tackle, but to my surprise very few actual vendors. Most of the tackle was being sold by actual tackle shops. Good show overall though, looking foward to next year.
  4. Thats what I am afraid of, the last couple I have been to the tackle has been very limited. This show does have a whole building called "Tackle Town" so I was hoping someone knows something about it.
  5. Does anybody know anything about the show going on in Indy this weekend? I am looking at making the trip from Dayton OH, (about two hours) I guess my question is, will there be much tackle there, or is this more of a boat and rv type show.
  6. Not sure if this is the right place to post this or not, but wanted to pass on a deal I came across at Gander Mtn. http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?i=401567&pdesc=Abu_Garcia_Revo_STX_Baitcasting_Reel&aID=504AA2&merchID=4006 Revo STX for $99.99, plus if you enter GAMAR2 in the promotions code box when you check out, you get another $10 off. Just got a couple for myself for $89.99. Feel free to delete or move if it this is not the appropraite location for this.
  7. Man, I have been hearing alot of horror stories about steering cables lately. I will be the first to admit I dont know a TON about boating, but is there anything that can be done to prevent this, or at least make the chance less likely? Anything aftermarket?
  8. Pilfered isnt exactly the word I would use....More like Gang Raped!
  9. If you didnt see the fish, then just tell yourself that it was a catfish.
  10. PM me if you are serious about getting rid of your brush hogs
  11. What part of Dayton you from?
  12. Not likely on a 6 or 7. tell me, how you hold a 7 lb. bass while removing the hook? X2! Exactly what I was thinking.
  13. I have always heard that if the water is deep enough to cover a bass' back then it is deep enough to hold fish.
  14. Wow, you might be my hero. Seriously that is an impressive collection!

Does anyone know of anybody that makes a tube in black emerald color?
  16. I have a night tournament this weekend, at a lake I dont fish too often. I have had some success at this lake drop shotting some humps. Lake is crystal clear. I have never tried drop shotting at night. Is it effective after the sun goes down?
  17. Man, what an Owner love fest here. All of you guys switching over to Owner, please PM me with whatever Gamakatsu's you want to get rid of. I personally have had bad experiences with Owner hooks.
  18. In that case it probably wasnt broken off. Anytime a fish swallows your bait, you should cut the line above the eye, and remove whatever plastic you were fishing. The hook will eventually rust and the Bass will be able to digest the hook. This is totally false. Next time you are at the lake, scoop up some lake water in a jar, and put a hook in it. Report back when its rusted away. Better yet, eat one, and let us know how that works out. I know I sound sarcastic, but you really need to remove the hooks. last year, I came across several fish with the same type of EWG lodged in their craw. They were emaciated, yet hit lures with great ferocity, suggesting that they were willing to eat, but could not swallow the food. The hooks were probably there for weeks, probably left by a Senko rookie. I removed them using this method: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1128002349/22#22 Get the hooks out, otherwise that fish is doomed. I disagree with that. As the poster above said he removed a rusted hook from the butt of a fish. Thats what I believe will happen if I cut my line. Let me say though if you can get the hook out without ripping out the fishes guts, by all means do it. That is no doubt the best bet for the survival of the fish. Sometimes its just not possible, in which case I think it should be cut.

  21. Am I the only one that actually had relatively good luck on the helicopter lure? I used them for a couple years and caught a lot of fish on them! Matt Yes, Yes you are. :
  22. Has anyone used this culling system? http://www.***.com/descpageXTOOLACC-XTGWP.html I am in the market for a good one, and I like the way this one sounds, but I dont like the looks of cull tags? Anything you guys can tell me about it would be appreciated, or even something you like better. Thanks
  23. Oh and by the way, it doesnt have to be a Kistler, or Powell, I am open to anything. I just have some extra money, and want to try something new. I love my Stix, but have no loyalty, if I find something I like better I will sell them in a second.
