Shattered Dream

My brother inlaw inforemed me a few weeks ago that we might be able to hunt on his uncles farm, a couple hours east of bham. I thought to myself Heck yeah what can be better than a free place to go hunt deer. Yesterday while getting ready to go fish, he tells me his uncle has ok'd us to bow hunt the land, but no guns for deer due to neighbors being near by. (A quarter mile down the road) Still no biggie, I'd rather bow hunt anyway. He did mention that we could gun hunt for all the coyotes up around the area, and he'd pay us 25 dollars per yote. Nice deal.

Today He tells me his uncle doesn't mind as long as we don't let his four year old daughter or wife see us kill a deer or coyote, apparently they think bambi is cute. Also he doesn't want them seeing any dead critters if we do kill one. So I ask when all his aunt and uncle go up there. To which I am told, Oh almost every weekend. Now how the Heck am I supposed to hunt if I can't kill an animal for fear that a forty eight year old woman or four year old child may see me either drop the animal or bring the dead animal out of the woods? I somehow get the feeling I'm not going to be going up there more than once.

Take off work and hunt durring the week. They coyote things a good deal that's how I get into a lot of places to hunt I start asking farmers to whack coyotes, groundhogs, coons ya know nuesince animals almost all are happy to let you and after a season they usually offer me to hunt deer. Between arr the farms iv got god idk a few thousand acres one farmer owns a whole village pretty much there's no peice of woods or field I can't hunt for miles.

Just hunt away from the house or where ever they are at. Not many people are going to be out stomping around in the woods very far from their house. Maybe show his wife and daughter side by side pictures of a brown cow and a deer, they look almost the same, one is just skinnier. :D

That was absolutely hysterical about the cow. My wife almost wet herself when I read that to her.

I know nothing about hunting beside one day I'll be involved but don't they make bags? Maybe check with brother n law and see If his uncle will be cool with that. Grant it you'll be either carrying and dragging the kill but it won't be seen. Or maybe park the truck closes you can get it? Do you have to go through his property by the house? No side pull offs and back trails else where? Well good luck and man I can go for some deer BBQ.
