Go to rain bait

Featured Replies

I went fishing in the rain and caught 7 bass on senkos in an hour an a half which is my new goto bait in the rain i wanted to know whats your favorite baits in the rain just a thought thx

that bait is my go-to in any situation especially in new waters

Definitely a spinnerbait, but that also happens to be my anytime go-to bait.  Plus I always have a rod rigged with a Spook and I love to throw that in the rain too.

x 1000,finish that quote with "worth a sh--". I hate the jitterbug, night, day, rain or sun.

I like a buzzbait, spook, and believe it or not white flukes are the real deal for me in the rain or heavy overcast

I don't get the chance to fish in the rain much, but when I do, I like to throw a real powerfishing bait, like a 3/8 oz. or so colorado blade spinnerbait, or a wakebait. When its weedy, I've thrown lightly weighted plastic wormies into pockets with some sucess. these are things that have worked for me at times. Hope this helps.
