Snagged a dead deer last spring that had drowned and mostly decomposed under the ice Getting my pointer back was not a fun deal. I did get a decent 8 point rack off of it though, figured I'd already

  • The worse thing I ever snagged while sober was my knuckle. The worse thing while intoxicated was a 210 pound manatee that was lurking around my stool at closing time.

  • My wifes' face....Gods honest truth. Not a good day for the Kevinator after that. But, a few years later she did buy me a new boat for fathers day so I guess I made up for it.

I snagged a mechanic suit in the Potomac river, no big deal right? It was covered in blood.

a sawed off shot gun..... i think that one takes the cake for me. also shirts, shoes, all that kinds of fun stuff. i did snag a line with a 4 pound bass on it during a tourny, i called the director and they let me keep it.

I snagged underwear (mens thong type), and thought it was uber gross until I read this post. Now I realize I have had it easy...

I snagged a trash can a few days ago fishing at a local lake. My dad accidently got a baby duck one time... but he was fine after we untangled him.

Horseshoe crab, crab pot/bouy, plastic bottle, and of course driftwood & snagged on rocks nuffin out of the ordinary.

I caught a duck once, i seen it come out of nowhere and i tried to reel in my line as quick as possible but apprently ducks are pretty d**n quick.. When he grabbed at the bait he flew about 10 feet in the air. I didn't know what to do i didn't wanna jerk it and hurt him/her and i also didn't wanna cut the line and have him flying around with a hook and string hanging from his mouth. After about a minute or so the hook just came loose and the duck flew away. Very random but glad the duck was alright

a snapping turtle while flipping a sweet beaver, thing bit like a bass, they are nasty and mean trying to get the hook out, thought i was going to be that guy from happy gilmore with the wooden hand :)

also had a close call with an osprey trying to get my spook, that might have been ugly

caught a snag once in a lake i fish in deep water. kept it tight and started crankin on it and it broke loose. brought it in and it was part of a flannel shirt.....didnt want to imagine what it was attached to. caught a few snapping turtles, boated a few rocks, couple bed springs

About 20 years ago I was a volunteer paramedic on my friends Coast Auxillary boat we got an Urgent call from a boat. When we showed up a bunch of guys were barfing from what they snagged! They had out two umbrella rigs trolling and they snagged a foot locker. They dragged it on board and cut it open only to find a rotting corpse! The worst part was police would't take it off their boat until they returned to the dock! Gross!

My neighborhood pond is full of huge alligator snapping turtles, and I've snagged a couple of those. Scary SOB's
