Andy Rooney - Rip

Andy Rooney has passed away. Ya, I know, he was 92, but geez, you just don't expect these things. I mean, he just retired from 60 minutes a few weeks ago.

So sad.

Sorry to hear it. I hated to see him retire. I always DVR the show. I often will skip through it, but I always watched his segment. He was a smart, cranky old guy who said what he thought and didn't care much what the rest of the world thought about it. My kind of guy.

RIP. Look at it this way, he obviously loved what he did, and did it right up to the end. We could do so well.

It must be an Old Fart's thing, but I love watching 60 Minutes. To hear that my favorite curmudgeon passed away grieves me to no end.

Glenn, he was a master at what he did on 60 Minutes.

Very entertaining and very truthful. No "off limits" with Andy.

So many people have retired and then passed away.

I plan to work forever!!!!!! :)

92 is a lot of years, somewhere along that line there is a good chance you're gonna get sick. Andy well surpassed the national longevity average. I don't feel sorry for him, he had a good & productive long life, I feel sorry for us, we no longer have him. Retirement kills no one, being idle does. A person like Rooney, even in retirement, is also busy doing something.
