Most realistic looking Swimbait

Featured Replies

look them up....

i own 2.

male BG floater

and

red eared sunfish floater....

not only are they the most realistic swimbaits that i own (literally look as if someone just stuffed a small baitfish),

but the swimming is amazing.

and with a sharp slap of the wrist leading to a slack line, they will do a complete 180 turnaround...

awesome baits IMO.

I know you live in Central Florida.  How do they work around here?  What's your best presentation in CFL lakes?

I saw pictures of a guy using those and he had 5- 15+ fish! One even weighed 17lbs

No question - Mattlures.....Have both soft and hard baits, and they look more realistic than some real fish I've caught!

it's a no brainer...  ::D

Matts hardgills are definately at the top.  But remember a "Realistic Looking" swimbait has 2 characteristics that make it realistic, body shape/detail and color/scheme.  Matt just happens to excel in both with his hardgills.

depends on what bait i was fishing at lake mohave and was useinfg a spr 8 inch trout swim bait  all of a sudden a park ranger come flying up said i was useing live trout to fish wanted to give me major fine i showed him the bait he left with his book in hand lol true story

ahhh, it all depends man....

sometimes i like to just rip it in.....

sometimes i just let it float and give it a twitch every now and then...

sometimes i swim it super slow, let it pause, then slap the line and let it turn around....

so really,

as for "best presentation" i dont know????

i kinda just start with whatever i feel like, then let the fish tell me the rest.

Way back when Castaic used to be the most realistic but I think the competition has gotten better.

Hudds trouts are very realistic, both in their swim and apperance.

The Huddlebug is not a swimbait but it is the most realistic craw I have seen

3:16 hard baits are also very realistic.

The tru tungsten baits are also realistic.

T Mikes Bull shads are realistic.

For those of you who said my baits....Thank you. :D

Put me down for MattLures as well. A close second has to go to this guy http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1244397175/0#0

That is John Hopkins.  Sick builder....

Most realistic for me would again be Mattlures Hardgill series.  I have three of them.

PS - waiting patiently for Hardbass.   ;D
