I fish a few local lakes that are pressured heavily. I'm starting to think I should go with some creatures with light weights and take my time. Most people there use spinnerbaits and fast moving baits. What do you guys use as far as finesse goes? I only have baitcasters so I can't use too light of lures. Thinking about trying some baby brush hogs with the smallest weight I can texas rigged.

Right now for finesse I'm using a fat ika and a 5" senko on both spinning and casting rigs.

well i think the fish in the lake i go to know senkos now. ive used them and used them. ive tried using fat ikas and only got 1 dink.

Try a weightless finesse worm or french fry worm with a split shot about 12" up the line and dead stick it.

A couple of my best baits to finesse fish on baitcasting equipment are Zoom Magnum finesse worms and magnum trick worms or a Baby Brush hog. I fish all of the on a 4/0 EWG hook and either a 1/4 or 3/16 ounce bullet weight. Fish them really slow and try to really visualize what your bait is doing.

Try an all black 1/8 football jig w/ single wire guard.

For a trailer, either a small double tail grub or piece of a finesse worm.

Roboworm Shakeyhead works for me .

I got some of the new Jackal "minnows" I'm going to try them on a drop shot.

try 1/8th oz texas rigged straight tail worms such as trick worms or something along those lines. also could try a .25 oz dropshot rig

Might try a finesse jig with baby Rage craw trailer fished slow.

Hair jigs, fished really slow, your choice of trailer, action or non action. I prefer a zoom salty chunk in winter or pork.

A real go to around here for the rest of the winter is a 4" single tail grub on a jig head 1/16 or 1/8 depending on the depth.

You might also try the 3" Damiki Hydra

4" Yamamoto double tail hula grub.... with as light as weight as you can get by with...worked slow..

I think I know which one you are refering to, and no not yet...soon enought it will take over the fishing world, so we need to enjoy it before the fish addapt to seeing them all day

I use jigs in the winter most of time. I have had lots of success with them. I vary the size and trailor but mostly during the winter I use trailor chunks.
