Fishing Shows Return Finally!

Featured Replies

Well now then, if you were chasing a little white ball down the fairway, that's pretty good in and of itself. All too often I'm chasing mine into the rough, or a hazard, or the woods. But I blame the course designer for putting the fairways in the wrong place. One of my favorite expressions when someone hits the ball really fat and the divot goes further than the ball, "Play the divot."

I used to tell people after cutting a big beaver pelt, " I think I know what you were doing, you were standing too close to the ball....after you hit it".

WFN came with my verizon, so I watch it all the time. Lost lake and classic patterns are two of my favorites. The have big bass monday, so monday is my sit inside and watch fishing night now haha

Who care about New Years?!!? TODAY is the new year for fishing shows :)

Just like you all have mentioned, I got my DVR ready to go for the whole year...good thing I got the 500 GB hard drive.

LOL same for me and my wife knows if she needs me to do anything it will have to be before 7 and after 10 lol because I'm glued to the tv.

Im a deer and turkey hunter, so the hunting shows dont bother me.(except by now they are on their third rotation) Have been watching wfn alot. Guess im lucky where i live, i have wfn, outdoor channel, and the sportsmans channel. There alot of good shows on vs too, but i think they are changing the name of the channel. But wfn(world fishing network) has got the best fishing shows by far.

Happy to see Lunkerville is on NBC/VS channel. I think it's the best bass fishing program. Authentic.

Zona's show is great entertainment. Can't watch Mr. Dance reel in one 6-7# fish after another...after another....

I check the "big" shows out too for the occasional gem segments and there are some. But honestly those

programs feel more like moving marketing slicks. I get the appeal of tournament fishing for some, it does not draw me.

Thanks for the kind words Jim. And just so everyone knows, the NBC Sports airings are different than the WFN broadcasts, so you can DVR them both. NBC Sports will be showing re-edited episodes from season 4 and 5 and WFN airs season 6. Season 7 begins in July on WFN.

Tomorrow, I go fishing with the infamous Low Budget Hooker in Rhode Island on NBC Sports. Check it out at 2pm (or DVR it and all the shows Wednesdays at 2pm).

Mike D I saw that episode. I like how he said color didnt matter and you proceeded to catch more bass then him. After that came the famous line "What are you throwing and can I use one?" Great show!
