I had a man tell me about a law that had to do with either the front or back seat on bass boats. I don't remember exactly and I have no clue about it or if its true. So, is there some law saying your boat can't be at a certain speed before you have to take down the front seat or the back seat or something? Anything along these lines I can't remember what he said for certain.

It is hard to say since I don't know the rules for your state. Here in MO our law states that people can't sit in the up seats if the boat is going faster than trolling speed.

Not in Virginia.

We go over 60 MPH with the seats in place.

We do put the backs of the seats down to eliminate the wind drag.

Cant sit on the gunwales while the boat is underway.

Some states don't allow for a bow seat to be in place that blocks the driver's view when navigating. An example is a fold down seat on a pedistal. A pro pole may or may not be acceptable--I haven't head of an instance where is was a violation (yet).

Different laws from state to state. Regardless of the law it is dangerous to sit in either the front or rear above no wake speed.

The trolling motor is a bigger obstacle than the front seat, vision wise. So are passengers on bowriders, for that matter. If you're trimmed out properly, you should have no issue seeing in front of you. Never heard of any law, or heard anyone get a ticket for that.
