Yesterday Was A Blessed Day!

Featured Replies

I got this one yesterday on a wildlife management area by my house. The biologist aged him at 5 1/2. He is a 7 point but the beams are 23 and 24 inches.

Very nice buck! You're lucky, after the 31st of December we can't shoot bucks anymore.

We are starting a primitive weapon hunt this week. The deer in my area are rutting the first two weeks of January.

That looks like an Alabama Deer and a dandy at that. Congrats man. That's awesome for a WMA.

Nice un, although not to blessed a day for that particular Buck! I saw one on the golf course I play at and counted 12 points from about 300 yards away, lord knows how many smaller ones it had that I couldn't see. It was a small bodied deer though, probably not much bigger than that one but humongous rack.

Nice deer...which part of Louisiana are you around. I live in PIneville.

Cool man...I've never hunted around there, but it looks like there are some good uns' in that area!

Yeah they got some good ones but the palmettos are so bad you have to get a deer within bow range to shoot it with a gun!
