I despise those filthy birds. When I was doing industrial electrical I never saw the filthy things, or their droppings. Now that im doing signs and commercial work I can't get away from them. Filthy things nest on the signs and dedicate on them and most all the lights. I went into a over building attic type wall over the front of a store I'm working on this morning, and apparently they are neating in there. I took a couple of em out but those twos buddies messed me up. Bit me and scratched me all kinds of up. Sorry flying rats!

They taste like chicken......... Squab in some parts of the country.

Everybody hates stool pigeons. In that case, if it's stool as in sample, they are indeed filthy birds.

They never leave. They live/nest in alot of the rooftop HVAC/R equiptment I work on. I'll take being attacked by pigeons over an angry swarm of bees or wasps any day of the week

Speaking of rats...I was doing some work at a restaurant recently. Pulling wire thru a drop ceilieng. I pop a ceiling tile and hear intermitant squeaking. Mouse crap all over the place. This is going on for about 1/2 hour driving me nuts. I finally saw Mickey, Minnie and the kids all stuck to a glue board. I was relieved. Didn't need to worry about being attacked.

I ate a few once. One of the guys at the farm was obbsessed with controlling the population of them. Many pigeons were slain, but in the end they won, feathered rodents. Well one time he bagged a bunch of them up, tossed them on the grill, and I'll admit. Not too shabby. Yes they taste like chicken. But these were nice fat country pigeons, eating grain and other natural food. I don't know what a city pigeon eating out of a garbage can would taste like.

Yeah, I run into lots of mice and rats in the ceilings above restaurants. And Ur right about the wasps, they definitely like HVAC units on roofs. However I dare say I've never encountered a nest be it wasp or bird by a strobic fan. Shame they dont use them in commercial.

I would imagine they probably taste about the same as possum. Greasy, grissley, and nasty.
